Responsibilities

  • Develop and support optimization models for Production Planning & Scheduling for the Business Unit.
  • Provide algorithmic solutions for DPP and MPS models through constraint-based programming/modeling.
  • Enhance DPP algorithms to meet unique market requirements and adapt to business changes.
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to design, test, and deploy optimization models globally.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues for deployed MPS optimization models globally.
  • Provide cross-functional support for integration with upstream/downstream systems like DRP and MRP.
  • Develop tools to support the 'control tower' strategy for centralization.
  • Monitor and sustain global deployments.
  • Lead and support ongoing Global ISCP analytics project needs.

Qualifications

Requirement Details
Education MS Degree in Operations Research, Applied Math, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
Preferred Masters in Operations Research/Industrial Engineering/Programming.
Experience
  • 5+ years in optimization using techniques like Linear Programming and Multi-Integer Programming.
  • Hands-on experience with optimization tools like Xpress Mosel, CPLEX, or Gurobi.
Technical Skills
  • Proficient in SQL, VBA, Excel Pivots, and MS Access.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication Excellent verbal and written communication skills for global collaboration.
